Solar Generators Parts

Mobile Solar System Component Suppliers and Features

Mobile Solar designs and builds products with only the highest quality and best performing solar power generation components. As the first to market with a commercially ready mobile solar solution, Mobile Solar has tested and refined its products to provide the highest reliability and performance in the market today.

Mobile Solar has long relationships with its suppliers and works closely with them to optimize the products incorporated in Mobile Solar systems. In addition to standing behind component supplier warranties, Mobile Solar provides an additional 5 year workmanship warranty, making a system from Mobile Solar a valuable investment that will pay back for many years to come.

Below are some of the key features and reasons for using these suppliers and components in our systems. We welcome your questions and are happy to discuss the quality evolution of our products and what that means to you.

Outback Power Inverters and Charge Controllers

The VFX3524M mobile inverter is the best on the market. We use them almost exclusively. They are a mobile, pure sine wave inverter and charger in one. With a 3,500 watt continuous output rating – and a 6,000 watt surge – they’re user-friendly, robust and very efficient. This is a great mobile inverter for those who need solid, reliable power on the road. Use it to charge your batteries with shore power or a gas generator!

The FM80 charge controller from Outback is an industry standard for many off-grid solar installers around the globe. An MPPT type (Maximum Power Point Tracking) 80-amp controller, the FM80 uses state of the art patented technology to make the most out of your solar input. With its built-in digital display and fool-proof connection terminals, it’s a no-brainer when dealing with a solar array of 30 to 80-amps.

The Outback MATE allows you to change default settings within the inverter and view loads of information gathered from both the inverter and the FM80 charge controller. It also allows you to remotely manage and monitor inverter, FM80s and any future equipment released by Outback.

Use Outback’s HUB-4 and HUB-10 to “stack” multiple inverters for 120/240, 240 or 208-volt output configurations. Use the Hub-4 for stacking, load share and power save on/off. Through the use of the Hub, your system can be completely managed and coordinated by the MATE.  www.outbackpower.com

Blue Sky Energy – Charge Controllers and displays

Blue Sky is our controller of choice when it comes to systems with solar arrays 30-amps or less. With the same patented technology you find with Outback’s FM60 and FM80, the Solar Boost 3024i is a more affordable option that can perform tasks most controllers can’t. The 3024i has built in dusk-to-dawn lighting control, auxiliary dc load and charge outputs, and best of all: “smart shunt” technology that allows it to calculate actually battery capacity and present it in an easy-to-read bar graph.  www.blueskyenergyinc.com

Exeltech – The original pure sine wave inverter

The XP Series by Exceltech is the best small inverter on the market. It is the perfect inverter for smaller systems where pure sine wave power is desired. You cannot buy cleaner, more stable power than that made by an Exceltech. Made is U.S.A.  www.exeltech.com

Sanyo – The best Solar Panels on the market

The newer 220-watt HIT Power solar module offers a higher power density and energy conversion efficiency than 99% of other photovoltaic (PV) modules on the market.  These industry leading PV modules allow you to harvest the most solar energy from a given surface area available on your system or MS Series Mobile Solar power generator.  We offer these as affordable upgrades for customers needing unmatched solar output from their system.
