This is a working prototype model that we’re offering for sale at significant savings. Normally a system of this design would go for $15,500 – but because it has been used as a demonstration model we are reducing its price by $7,000.

It was built in the summer of 2006 and has been used at only three events. It has largely served as an in-house demonstration unit for our dealers – in other words, very little wear and tear. Everything works fine and some of the manufacturer warranties are still valid.

We offer a broad product line including 12 trailer-based models. This unit is comparable to our smaller MS-100 Series (specifically the MS-125 model). It is easy to roll around on a hard surface and forklifts nicely into a full-sized truck or small trailer. It comes with two display screens inside that show real-time power storage in bar-graph form. In short, it has all the bells and whistles.

Electrical Specifications:

• Solar array: 340 watts (two Suntech-170 watt modules, 20-year warranty).
  
• Battery bank: 400 amp-hours at 24-volts; approximately 9.6kWh of storage (four ROLLS-SURRETTE S-530 batteries, 7-year warranty).
  
• Charge Controller: 30-amps MPPT with display (BLUE SKY SB3024i; two-year warranty)
  
• Inverter: 4,000-watt Magnum Energy “MagnaSine” Pure sine-wave inverter, model MS4024; capable of sustaining a 33-amp output at 120 volts. This inverter is famous for being able to start large well pumps. It can surge to 10,000-watt for 100 milliseconds! See data sheet below.
  
• Container: Professionally welded steel with hinging top and heavy-duty casters.
